I have been accepted in undergraduate electrical engineering in McGill University for Fall 2012. However as we know it is one of the expensive universities, I don't want my dad to bear much of the college costs. What is it that I can do there once I get to Quebec from which I can take care of all the college costs? I want to know of any job or business. other than this. For me to actually get there first, I would have to apply for a visa. My family has already applied for immigration to Canada however, the process can take time and we maybe stuck in Pakistan till December this year. But the session will start in September. So I would have to go there on student visa first. Is it possible for me to get my visa type changed afterwards while remaining in Canada?
