Need help from friend

Hello l claimed refugee status here in Canada and it got denied so l am appealing.I have been in and out of hospital because l have no support in my life and l want my friend who learns in china as a student to visit me for just a week . I am wondering what kind of information the immigration officer will need .l have lots of letters from doctors about my depression and he will be living with me during his stay here.l do work part time and l get about 1000Cad monthly

Your friend needs to apply for a TRV (tourist visa). The TRV will be refused or approved based on the strength of your friend's profile. Your friend will need to show strong ties to the home country / country of residency, proof of funds to support the trip to Canada and ideally previous travel to countries requiring visa such as the US and UK.
