Hi, a friend of mine falls under 7241 Electricians (except Industrial and Power System), but the problem is he does not have any apprenticeship or trade certificates! , but he has 5 years work experience (he can get a letter from a company stating his experience).

Also to add to the confusion, he has a Bachelor of Business Administration, but he could not find a job in his field so ended up working as electrician and handy man.

Does he have a case to apply for canada immigration ? Is his work experience letter enough proof? He is scared to apply then get rejected.

i m on the same boat. please contact me kmjut@yahoo.com +92 333 777 1435 or skype id : khurramking

Technically speaking he can apply.
But he will have to convince visa officer that he can clear required certification when he immigrates which will be difficult.
One thing he can do is enroll in some certificate courses(6/12 months).
