Ask her to invite you, but don't mention stuff like "marry", as it will potentially mean that you will come here, and stay over. Just say that your friend sent an invite and wan to visit canada, you are a student and hve xyz funds to support yourself

Do you any other visas? travel history?

Do a search in the top right hand corner white box for things like TRV Denied, Visa Refusal. You will read a lot about situations like the one you are in and it will help you avoid the problems others have had. As a student in a country outside your home country you start out with a real challenge. The biggest thing you have to prove to get a temporary visa is that you have STRONG TIES to your home country. This includes things like a healthy bank account, ownership of property, a spouse/child, established job and income, history of foreign travel for pleasure.....
Read everything you can about making your application a strong one because it seems harder if you have to apply over again and the reasons they give for denying a visa have to be corrected before you can hope to get one. I am sorry to sound harsh, but it is not going to be an easy thing to do. For your own future plans, be sure to keep records of your relationship through chat logs, pictures, travel tickets, things that will prove how long you have been together. From the brief history you have given us a visa officer might jump to the conclusion that the relationship is unusual. Even if you DO marry and plan to come to Canada, you will be smart to keep documented proof of the relationship to prove it wasn't planned for immigration purposes.
