Hi All,

Please help me in applying the first application to CIC. I have planned to apply for FSW 0213 category. So the application form I need to submit are

Application for Permanent Residence in Canada [IMM 0008]

Schedule 1: Background/Declaration [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1]

Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3]

Additional Family Information

Fee Payment Form – Application for Permanent Residence – Federal Skilled Worker [IMM 5620] along with fee.

Document Checklist [IMM 5612]

Is there any other document I need to submit. All other document e.g. certificates , Referral form , IELTS score cards should be submitted once CIC recommend me to do so. Is this correct ? As they are planning to take away 0213 so I am thinking of submitting all the details by End of May. Please advice any other thing I need to keep in my mind.

Thanks

Do I need to send any document along with the first application. In the instruction guide they have mentioned about "Other documents" but I am not sure what other document I need to send.

Hi,

No you don't need to send any other documents, only what they ask for.

There is a checklist for you to follow so photocopies, jobs and all the other documentation gets sent at a later date to the visa specific office.

I sent my application on the 3rd March and they cleared my cheque yesterday so be prepared that it does take up to 10 weeks.

Good Luck

Thanks morning

Does that mean once they accept my first set of application the old rules apply to me. So if they take out the 0213 category, still my application will be processed.

Dear shantiseema,

Once your file reached to Nova Scotia and then there is rule change it will not apply to your file. you are under onld rule.

if you have given IELTS then attached photocopy of IELTS and two self address address label one in english and the other is national language of country if you are from india ( Hindi).

Regards,

Vikas

Hi toenjoy

Thanks for your info.I have planned for IELTS on June 5th but as I am getting news that the rules may change early so planning to send the application this week. As per the instruction guide they have asked for the applications only with address label and fees. Do I need to send the IELTS copy ? I am from India so planning to send one address label in English and one in Hindi

Dear Shantisharma,

Please check ECONOMIC CLASSES FORM.. in that Q:6 Provide IELTS COPY ALSO.

that's why it is recommended not necessary to attach IELTS result.

Hi toenjoy

Sorry to put another question. as per question 6 they are asking to provide the exam result or evidence of the proficiency in english so does that mean I need to send them the evidence with the first set of application. As I have planned to take the IELTS on June 5th so it doesn't seem to me I can apply before that.

Dear Shantiseema,

You can send your initial application to canada without IELTS also. VO at canada Nova scotia doesn't consider your IELTS he/she consider only what you have ticked in form?

IELTS submission is necessary when you submit full docs to local visa office.

I hope this will be of an assistance for you.

still you have any questions you are always welcome

Thanks toenjoy,

One last question. If in the schedule 3 form question 5 I ticked proficiency in English all high but later found any deviation after giving the test then will it put me in trouble. As I am planning to send the document prior to the IELTS test result so I am not sure what to tick over there.

Thanks for the clarification that the Question 6 even I will tick on Yes option I needn't send them the evidence with first set of application.

The other question is in the document checklist they have asked to send he application to Sydney,Canada CIO office but you have referred to "Nova scotia" so will that make any difference on whether I should send the IELTS copy with first set or not.

you have to have 67 points even If you check all high in language and later IELTS result vary from self assesment. with 67 points you should not worry about this...
