Dear Experts
i am confused about how to present my foreign work experience.
Basically I have been working in a company In india from Nov 2007. I joined this company as software engineer. I am still with the same company. Now over the years I have been getting promotions and til now i have received 4 promotions.
I was also transferred to Canada for 1 year from May 2016 to June 2017 and then on coming back I started working in the same company.
Now how should i mention this in my profile? Do i need to specify in work history about each promotion and its start and end date? If yes, then i wont be able to present any experience certificate for each role as my company wont provide this.
Can somebody guide me how is this kind of situation handled? I am planning to put it in this way:
Nov 2007 - May 2016 - Experience in India
may 2017 to June 2017 - Experience in Canada
June 2017 to till date - Experience in India
My company will only issue me a letter saying that i joined in Nov 2007 to till date and i am currently designated as XXXX. I am full time employee with 41.25 hours per week and then my generic roles and responsibilities matching NOc code 2173.
Do i need to produce separate experience letter for each position that i have held within the company? I know many of you must have gone through the same situation.
Please help me guys. thanks in advance.
