Hello,
Currently, I am in Canada and work as a Sales Supervisor. I have received an ITA under Canadian Experience Class. I have got some points of using the country of origin experience, and the question is related to that experience.
Question about Country of Origin Experience:
I was hired under the title of "Business Development Officer" because I was an accounting graduate my company decided me to perform only accounting duties therefore through out my tenure of employment I did accounting duties.
When they issued an experience letter to me for an immigration purposes, they mentioned the title of "Business Development Officer". On the other hand, they add the duties and responsibilities as an accountant which I was responsible for.
Q. My duties match the "Accounting Bookkeeper NOC 1311. But the title does not match as it mentioned above that my designation was "Business Development Officer".
So, I have selected the NOC to follow the duties that match the duties I did in my job. However, is this the correct way to select the "NOC". Do I need to get a written explanation from my old employer about duties and title difference or you may call it conflict between my title and duties that I performed.
Please guide....
Thanks
Amar
