We are in Canada. Me and my husband are both PR already. But my parents are not yet. so they applied for PR, only my father applied through Skilled woker immigration. He's currently a work permit holder, my mom accompany with him as spouse.
My father(62 yr old) has received a letter for his Interview in Buffalo accompany with my mom for his Skilled Worker Immigration. The date is October 29th. The reason why we did not take the family sponsorship way to apply is because: First, it take way too long and no one knows how long; Second, we do acctually have a family business which is also a high-tech business in Nanotechnology, my father is a material scientist and the key person in this company who has developed all technologies we are using now, and we need him stay with the company just like all other companies need the key person to be there so they can survive. The business is doing really well right now. He did not mention about this is a family business in the application although all company information and even salaries are truth.
But we are hesitating if he should make it clear during his interview that this is a family business. The president of this company is also his daughter. We are expecting significant growing if my Dad will receive his PR and continue staying with us.
He can read and write in English, he was a University Professor before he retired, but he can not speak English fluent, he can answer questons in English slowly if the question is not too complicated.

Can someone tell me how should my father tell the interview officer? Will this confuse the interviewer or making him/her upset? Will this bring more questions during interview? is it harder or easier to make the decision for the officer? If you were the interviewer, what would you think?
