Thanks so much! Yes there are about 10,000 applications still being accepted, so I will go with this method. Will I be able to apply for a work permit based on this PR application, since my current work permit expires in Oct? Coz most likely the processing time will be a few months.

So you will have 1560 hours and one year experience in NOC 6552 (NOC 6513 is not eligible). If your work permit expires you will need to quit your job and change your status to visitor.

No - there is no BOWP with the TR to PR Pathway. If you go this route, you'll need to stop working in October when your current work permit expires.

You're right about the NOC. I wanted to know if I can apply for another work permit or work permit extension based on my TR to PR application?

Thanks Scylla! Do you know the average processing time for TR to PR? I would like to calculate how long can I sustain on my savings. :D

Or, will I be able to leave Canada after applying with TR to PR, and come back when I'm required? Like for health checkup (if required in this case) or when the processing is complete?
