Need help, CEC application but spouse with open work permit outside Canada

Thanks guys to help me for my previous question.

I am on work permit and planning to apply for PR thru CEC by November 2014. I received my work permit in my home country (India). My wife has received her open work permit this month, after applying from Dubai, UAE.

She will be only arriving in Canada by Jan 2015.

Its now known to me with all your help that I need to include her name in PR application.

My doubt is, what will be her status of legal document to travel Canada in Jan 2015,if I apply by Nov 2014 with her name on list ?

your application for permanent residence will not affect her open work permit.

She will have the worker status when she arrives in Canada in jan 2015. Her status doesn't change even if you include her as a dependent in your PR application prior or after she arrives in Canada. She will remain in worker status until you guys become PR or her Work Permit expires. Although, since you are from India, she would need a TRV (Temp Resident Visa) on her passport to enter Canada..

If my PR application is submitted with her name on list , can she still travel to Canada on the open work permit?

Now I got it,

she has received a temporary resident visa with work permit.
