Please help me out I really have no idea what to do...
I am a Canadian Citizen studying abroad and this summer I am planning on marrying my fiance who is not a Canadian Citizen and lives where I am studying. After marriage I am planning on going to graduate school in the United States which means I will also need a student visa. Thats not an issue, but my question is
a) Should my wife apply directly to US to get a visa to go with me or would it be easier for me to bring my wife to Canada and than apply from there?
b) If bringing her would be better, how do I bring her over (can she fly over with me right away and we do the paper work in Canada or...)
and
c) when i bring her over to Canada what kind if any statues does she get and how long will this whole process take?
eventually we will move back to Canada and apply for her citizenship but until than what is my best option?
Really really appreciate anyone who can help.
