Need Genuine Information About Canada Student Permit-Please Help!!

Hi Friends

I am Abhi, how are you? I am looking ahead to come canada on Student visa. I am looking for genuine information about Canada.
My profile is I have done Master's in London in year 2010 and now i am interested to come into Canada to settle their. I though of student visa is the right option than FSWP. i have couple of questions about it:

1. I may not get Master's degree in Canada, i may need to choose PG Diploma, do you suggest me to pursue in University or in Community college?

2. If i choose 2 year degree, how many years work permit i will get ? how and When i will be eligible for PR?

3. After completing the graduation, what are the prospects in getting jobs in IT sector? Do we have consulting companies here in Canada as we have in USA? How to find the IT consulting company?


4. Previously my F1 was rejected to USA in the past, i was heard as we have question in application as ever your US visa is rejected? Which do you suggest me either Yes or No?

Hi,

1. You are already a Master degree holder. It's reccomend that you apply for a Master's in a Canadian university. In-case you are not eligible, You can try for a Canadian college 1 or 2 years PG certificate/diploma programme in your area of study. If you have atleast 60% in final 2 years of your previous degree(s), I highly reccomend you to try for Master degree programmes in Canadian universities.
2. You will be eligible for 3 years PGWP, after completing a 2 academic years/ 4 sem/ atleast 16 months of full time study form any recognized Canadian educational institute. To be eligible for PR, you need to satisfy the eligibility requirements for different student immigration programmes. Just completing the course and getting PGWP will not guarantee PR. There are many student immigration programmes in Canada, each with their own set of requirements. 3. IT/CS/ Programmers will be in huge demand for coming years in Canada. But, getting a job in this or in any field is totally upon an individual - his/her skills, talents, academic record and most importantly networking skills and luck.
4. Canada is a sovereign independent nation, and your previous U.S visa rejection will not affect in any way the Canadian study permit.
