I want to apply as NOC 8252 under skilled trades.is this category require arranged employment approved by HRDC??

my brother has following education qualification:
bachelor in computer application(BCA) year 2006-09
now he is doing his own business in dairy farming since 2009.
he has a well established dairy farm with all modern equipments, techniques.
he has done short training certificate courses relevant to dairy farming.
plz help me in calculating his points and wether he can apply under the category of 8252 (Agricultural service contractors, farm supervisors and specialized livestock workers )

to apply you must
have an offer of full-time employment for a total period of at least one year** or a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a provincial or territorial body.***

what is certificate of qualification?

There is a cap of 100 for NOC 8252, since it's considered only moderately in-demand occupation, but I really don't think any of the NOCs is in any danger of meeting the quota any time soon (unlike FSWP).

And jotgrewal mentioned, your brother most likely will need an arranged employment from some Canadian employer(s). The only way to bypass LMO requirement is by obtaining "a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a provincial or territorial body", though, according to the CIC website, "you will likely have to go to the province or territory to be assessed".

I'm really interested in how this stream progresses, but there seems to be a very limited interest in Federal Skilled Trades Program on this forum.

Point calculation needs alot of information, you can check if your brother is eligible or not using the wizard given by CIC on below link

Based on the basic info given above I think your brother may be eligible under Federal Business Immigrant Program (Self Employed)
