Hello there. I need a little bit of advice. I am looking to move to Canada to live with my fiance. I have no idea where to start. I'm not really sure what to do. Everything seems so complicated and I just need help. I have been a British citizen all my life and I have really strong English speaking skills. Please any advice will be very appreciated.

Thanks for the help

Is your fiance Canadian? (Citizen or PR?) Or is your fiance here under some other status (work permit, study permit)?

Yes my fiance is a Canadian citizen

Only if you're married or common-law (having lived together 12 consecutive months), could your fiancee sponsor you for PR status.

If you aren't married or common-law, then you can simply "visit" Canada as a UK citizen, most likely you would get 6-months status upon entry. You can't "move" here. While visiting, you must abide by visitor rules (so no working, need to extend your visitor status as it comes due, etc).

If you qualify for PR independently as a skilled worker, then you can try that route.

Alternatively you can try the IEC/Working Holiday visa route if you want to live/work in Canada for 1 year.
