Hi Guys,

I was charged with serious criminality in 2018 and while I was in jail I had the meeting with immigration and I was ordered deportation. While in jail I didn't have access to any immigration lawyer.
I applied for an appeal as I am a PR but my appeal was rejected as well now recently I received a call from the immigration saying that I am eligible for Pre removal risk assessment. Questions I have is that my home country is India and I don't have any threats in India, so what are some ways to make my case stronger and if the PRRA gets denied do I have any other means left after that?
Like judicial review? Is it worth it ?

You need to be working with a very good immigration lawyer at this point. Your situation is far too complex for an internet forum.

For PRRA to be approved, you must prove that your life would be in danger or you would be at risk for persecution if you return to your home country. If you face no threats in India, then PRRA will be refused.

Again, you should be working with an immigration lawyer to determine if you have any options remaining.

There is difference between charged and convicted. If you mean you were convicted by a court in Canada, the removal order cannot be stayed by leave application for a Judicial Review. IRPR 231(3)(a) "There is no stay of removal if the person is subject to a removal order because they are inadmissible on grounds of serious criminality;" I agree you needed a lawyer from yesterday..If you were not provided lawyer access while in detention, you can cite that as a reason for stay of the removal in / during the JR hearing.
