Thank you all for your help and kind advices I read here
I'm a Bachelor degree holder, a registered nurse and midwife, I just got admitted into a college in Calgary for a certificate program in Medical office assistant ( 1 yr certificate program), my family company which is a clinic is sponsoring me and I'm part of the clinic management staff, ( the clinic is actually named after me ) I am one of the inheritors of the clinic, but I want my husband and only baby of 2yrs to accompany me, my husband is a director and founder of his company ( solar panel installations ). so my husband will sponsor his trip and that of my baby. My husband will return after 1 month for his business.
(1) How do we apply for the visas, what kind of visa do my husband and baby need ?
(2) What ties do we present?
(3) Is it advisable to apply with them?

Thank you for your kind advice.

Please help,
I mean will it be advisable to apply with them being that its a 1 year certificate program ?

Suspect that there will be some concern about your choice of program. Why would a nurse/midwife want to take a medical office assistant position especially if you are saying you are being sponsored by a clinic you already own and will inherit. These skills will likely not help you in your home clinic. It is also much inferior degree than you already have so it doesn't make a lot of sense in terms of career progression. Are you enrolled in a public college? I assume you are trying to immigrate so a private college will not give you access to pgwp. Also a 1 year degree will make it difficult to qualify for PR with only a 1 year pgwp. There will also be concerns about you bringing your family. Daycare can be up to $1800/month in Toronto ad less expensive in other areas of the country. You will have to show that you can afford to take care of your family and study. There will be concerns about you being able to study while you are here alone with a child. In general think you will struggle to show why you and your family need to come to Canada to take this course. My opinion of course.

Thank you Canuck78
Thank you for your kind reply and opinion, this is exactly what I wanted to understand, actually this is the program available in BVC as at when I was ready to apply so I was looking for a program that will give me access to file management in the clinic so on return I will train other staff of the clinic, we are having more patient, but I also applied for Office Administration - Health Services 2 years program in GBC so going by your advice I may have to wait for GBC respond or I will apply to go alone, What do you think ?
Once again thank you

Given your qualifications, going for a Medical Office Assistant would get you refused for course irrelevancy. It would be advisable for you to apply and make the trip alone(your best bet)

Even the admission application to GBC for Office Administration is not clearly adviseable, better apply for a suitable course for a Masters or PG diploma program in Nursing and Midwifery

The point here is to not get refused for "purpose of visit"

Johnsnow 007,
Thank you for your kind advice, its so helpful,
What about this program because I want an administrative program that will enable me to handle some management duties in the hospital, (Post Diploma Certificate) health and human services Management ?

If your goal is to immigrate why not try and try and get your Canadian nursing equivalency. Don't know the whole process but if qualify as an RN you will be able to get a job easily.

@Chmb I really don't know much about health related courses but what @canuck78 said made sense

..I will still advise you to go for something really competitive that is tangible to Nursing then you can decide to apply for a change of course when you get Visa

Remember, we are trying to justify your very much impressive qualifications from a VO's perspective, so it would not be polite to leave him whining in a suspicious mood for such a beautiful qualification going for something less instead of trying to go higher.. THINK!!
