I would like to share my story to get the PCC, it was very hard, painful and time taking to get pcc now while a year before it was job of few hours to get it anyways...
Like i said i get it earlier my PCC a year ago so i thought there will the same process to get it and i took printout of forms from internet and went to passport office delhi near Hyat Hotel... i noticed there were many peoples those were asking for help to do your work absolutely paid service.... so i ignore them and went to counter and get to it is closed and new process has started that i have to take the online appointment i was confused i came with my baby and wife so wanted to do that in same day as my medical was already done and wanted to send the documents asap....
then i offered by a person 500 each to get online forms for entering into office and get a second date to submit the documents, i negotiated and paid 600 for both (i know it was a 5 min job at home but coming again next and fuel for car was almost same so decided to do it same day)...i went with that person 500 meter from passport office and it took me around next 1 hour to get online appointment to enter into building....then we went into room there were a long Que of peoples and took around 4 hours in delhi kie garmi with my wife and small baby......finally we got a date to submit our document .... there it was more worst experience than this.....
we enter into ITO passport seva kendar...it was horrible to see a que of thousands of peoples hopefully it was for new passport but when we went inside we will have to get the coupon for entering into waiting room..it took around 2 hours to get the entry pass and then we find a chair and air conditions hall and fill much relax....after waiting an hour our number came and we went to officer that took our photographs, finger prints and document and ask us to go upstairs for next process.....after waiting around more than 2 hours we meet the officer and i got my PCC but my wife not cause she needs police enquiry from local police and we got a number to check the online status......
this all happens in 31st may and still we are waiting for inquiry and then they will send it to DCP from there it will move to main police headquarter from there they will send it to passport office and then it might possibe we will get our pcc .... GOD KNOWS IN HOW MANY DAYS.....WE HAVE TO SUBMIT OUR DOCS BY END OF THIS MOTH........
SO GUYZ APPLY FOR YOUR PCC EITHER IT IS ASKED OR NOT SO NEXT TIME WHEN VO WILL ASK FOR IT YOU WILL GET IT IN FEW DAYS (AROUND IN A WEEK)....AND DON'T BE LIKE IN MY CONDITION...
