HI All,

I recently got my acceptance letter from a NBCC New Brunswick for IT Business Analyst Advanced diploma 1 year programme. Lets connect and help each other. Iam aware there are a very few international students coming to New Brunswick because they dont provide PNP for students nor we can find partime job readily.

To be honest cost wise its the most affordable place study.

Regards,

Vidya

less job opportunities and yes living expense is lower,,, UNB is actually quite good in terms of reputation,,,

Could anybody living in New Brunswick share your experience ?How is the climate, people.faculty, culture there?Do you face any problem/challenges as new comer?
I am planning to land there in August. Is this place comfortable for Asian/South-Asians?Do most people speak English or French?
Appreciate your response very much.

You have not mentioned your IELTS and GRE.
I heard Memorial gives high importance to your IELTS(written section specially-better have 7 atleast) and GRE score .
dalhousie and UNB is more or less same as far as ranking is concerned. They don't give so much importance to GRE(like MUN).
Ryerson univ is a bit more expensive compared to other 3 above.I am not sure about its requirement/std.
This my personal opinion only from my limited experience.I got offer from UNB and Dalhousie(and some other universities).

As long as you meet the cut-off,you have chances anywhere, I would say.

Below are just my opinion-

1)English-=>Memorial is very strict on English/IELTS score.I don't think you can crack it without IELTS.If can contact faculty directly, then it may work without IELTS.But,I am not sure.
I am not sure about Dalhousie. You can contact their admin. But,it is difficult to get visa without IELTS even you are accepted by University.

2)Your Profile=>It depends on which country the University score is from. You can contact their graduate admin directly with your score and ask them you meet the the requirement.
Relevant work ex will surely add weight to your application. If you meet the cut off and you have 3 years of relevant experience, your chances are good I would say.
Also your good references will count in this regard.
