National identification document!

Hi Guys,

I am an Indian, I've sent my application. It must have reached them today. In the form IMM0008-where National identity document is asked i wrote Aadhaar card and left the expiry date blank as it doesn't has one.

Now i got to know that India is yet to issue national identity document. Aadhaar card in future will become NID. But as of now India doesn't furnish NID.

Do you think they can reject my application because of this?

Other option that i can think is of sending correct IMM0008 form and request them to consider the new one. Is that possible.

I am very worried because of this.

they won't reject your application because of that.Not sure what aadhaar card is, but in general the national ID is not a compulsory thing, and some countries don't have one. so don't worry about it. As long as you have the ID documents (passport, birth certificate etc) in your file, it should be all good.
I have an ID card, but when I filed my documents I didn't know where it was, so I left it blank, and it was OK.
I don't think there is a need to send another form just for that, it doesn't really affect your application.

I did exactly the same thing. Can you please tell me what was the outcome ? Did they reject the application or asked you to fill IMM 0008 again ?
