Hello & thank you in advance,
I'm a Canadian Citizen sponsoring my Lebanese wife and I have a few concerns.
In the checklist I see we need her passport and national ID. These, she both has.
Now, when we go into the country specific forum's for Lebanon we see we need something called "national certificate." We have that as well, only issue is that national certifcate they're speaking of is also her national ID.
We also have a seperate national ID in the form of a card but being such a great country there's mistakes on it so we don't want to use it.
Would it be an issue to use the national certificate as the national ID since in Lebanon they use it for all their official documents or does Canada request two forms of ID; one requested in the checklist & the one requested in the country specific forum.
It's a little confusing but hopefully the passport & one form of ID as the national certificate is enough or we'll be running into problems.
Best Regards,
Omar H.
