Name before marriage - Shruti Bhatia (Have education certificate in this name along with some government documents like license, Voter Id)
Name After Marriage - Shruti Kalra (Have marriage certificate in this name, Passport, Aadhar Card, PAN card)

Hi - I have given IELTS exam and got the required score for application of PR. I had given exam in my married name as I had passport with the same name. I am now getting separated from my husband and therefore it doesnt make any sense to apply for PR in this name. While divorce will take some time as it has legal procedural requirements , I was thinking to get my ECA done. And when i finally get divorced upload my profile for express entry.

Wanted to seek your suggestion if canadian government can have issues here
1. IELTS name and passport name matches currently. But since I am separating, I dont want to have my canadian name as Shruti Kalra. So is it advisable to change name now or while creating profile
2. In which name it is advisable to get ECA done - Shruti Bhatia or Shruti Kalra

Your documents should be consistent through out.

Your express entry profile name should match your passport name.

In case you are able to get your name changed to your maiden name on passport and your IELTS name is your marriage name, you can always present documents suggesting that you reverted to your maiden name after separation.

Regarding your name on ECA : https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...eads/urgent-advice-on-name-change-wes.404743/

To keep things consistent, I would recommend that you get your name changed on passport first, and then proceed with your Express Entry. Your name on IELTS wouldn't of much problem as long you have proof that you were married and now divorced and also your TRF carries your photo as well.
