Name on police certificate doesn’t match my name

My name on all of my official documents and application forms is Sophie however the name that’s on the police certificate from the country I was born in is Sofia. Since I’m being asked for that certificate do you think I should update my application and add the translated name? Or would IRCC consider them equivalent?
