Advise me guys. I immigrated to Canada two years ago. Is it possible for me to change the family names of my kids? Although I am their biological father, their fasmily name apears to be different. This happened by mistake.

Yes,google name change + province where you are residing.

Where did the mistake happen actually? Are the kids birth certificates and passports bearing their correct names but the names on their landing papers / PR cards is wrong? If that is the case, you do not have to change their names, just correct the mistake by immigration.

I have a similar question, but mine is to do with my wife's last name. My wife's last name is not the same as mine, but we want to change it. Not sure where she needs to do this, or if it's even possible as all her documents have her Chinese last name.

Any advice?

I think it's possible. Some people even changed their birth of date when moved to Hong Kong from China.

When you look at the surname of the famous actor, Jackie Chan. The surname, Chan,, also spelt as Chen (commonly in mainland China), Tan (commonly in Malaysia), Tran in Vietnamese, etc. The spelling is different but it's the same in Chinese.
