My wife and I will be applying for inland sponsorship for her at the end of May this year.

I have already lived with my wife in the United States (her country of origin) for a few years and we are looking to settle in Canada.

I am currently undergoing a legal name change of my given and last names and I do not believe that this name change will be finalized before I submit the application to sponsor my wife.

Is it possible for me to just report my name change during the application in order that I do not "retard" the process of sponsorship?

Thanks in advanced to everyone that gives me some of their time.

i would highly reconsider applying inland if the applicant is from the us. us outland applicants are getting approved in 2-6 months right now. the OWP is not a good reason to apply inland when the entire process is considered and a person can be IN Canada as worker, visitor or student and apply OUTLAND. If you apply inland you are looking at 2+ YEARS for processing processing.

APPLY OUTLAND...APPLY OUTLAND...APPLY OUTLAND...APPLY OUTLAND...APPLY OUTLAND.
