Hello,
I am applying For Canada pr through express entry but i have changed my name completely after marriage my all educational certificates have my old name and my experience letter have my new name. So does it create any issue for my verification or pr process. Or what proof do they accept in such case.

Please help me out
Thank you

You can explain in the letter of explanation and provide your marriage certificate which will mention your maiden name and your spouse's name. To be on the safer side you can also provide a name change notarised affidavit which mentions your maiden name was... and after marriage to ... you current name is.... And attach the marriage certificate as an exhibit to it. The lawyer/notary will have a format, very straight forward and will not cost much.

It will be an issue with WES. So, file affidavit notarized and submit to WES and after that submit same to CIC

Thank you for highlighting.

In my case, my spouse only had to submit our marriage certificate and we received our ECAs without her having to submit any notarised affidavit. However, this was a year ago, and am not sure if there has been any subsequent change to this.
