Name Change before PR approval

Would it matter if I get my name changed (maiden to married name) before I get my PR? What should I do? Where do I start?

Did you send in the application yet? Once you get your AOR there should be instructions on what to do to notify them when there is a change of information.

Yep, sent my application last September. It's already in process as per e-CAS update. I haven't received any letter yet nor did my husband/sponsor.

Then I would wait until after you get your PR to avoid any problems.
