HI FRNDS,,,The CHC,DELHI REALLY TESTING MY PATIENCE.....

my first application was refused in jan 2010 because of difference of merely 100 can$ and that too because of not taking into account the surrender value of my insurance policies.i wrote and mail them so many times but they didnt consider it and didnt send back my documents even.

at last in march,i applied again and got my AOR from CIO;submitted all my documents just recently and see the 'promptness' of CHC,DELHI that just today i recieved a mail from them informing me to getting back my IELTS in coming days.

now what the problem is---i have send the notarised IELTS alonwith a statement stating my last file no. and the fact that they havent send back the documents till now.

what will my status when they start processing my file?
should i send the original IELTS when i recieve the same?
should i go for a mail stating all this and advising them not to send back the IELTS and hold the same?

See if your IELTS TRF is not a year older then the score is valid.... Since, they want the original TRF (Test Result Form), you don't need to attempt IELTS again. All you can do is, go to IDP Australia center or British Council (From whichever you attempted IELTS) and pay Rs. 1000 (I guess, not Sure) and fill up a form where its clearly mentioned who do you want to send IELTS TRF to? Fill the form with embassy address and your current file number and they will send results to CHC, ND.

I suggest you get another original TRF and send to CHC, don't make British council / ADP to send directly to CHC.

Get another copy of IELTS certificate and send it to CHC ND stating that you are sending the second certificate if IELTS as the first one is with them only. This should help it speed up

@rocky and all frnds

thanx frnds!!!

an other joke with me...............

as per advised by frnds over here,i applied for a duplicate IELTS certificate and for the precautionary measure, wrote an letter to chc to retain my original till the time i send them the duplicate one,i got my IELTS back alongwith other documents[sent earlier for the first file]

now i am confused as...

should i send them the ORIGINAL IELTS only or all other documents pertaining to the first[refused] file?
now after sending the same,is my position totally safe as regard to the documents as they have mentioned that THE DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE SENT IN ONE LOT ONLY.....

thanx.

British Council does not send the IELTS TRF directly to Canadian Embassy, they clearly mention that in the application form & also on the website. Even New Delhi CHC does not accept TRF from anywhere else accept from the applicant directly when asked for.
You cannot get another TRF directly from British Council. Their is no provision for that. It's very important that you use the original TRF judiciously.
They can only send upto 4 TRF's directly to Embassies/Universities who accept TRF directly.

i have sent my original IELTS to CHC in a separate courier and it got delivered in CHC yesterday.

i got an email from CHC in reply of my enyiry made to them and they mentioned that all documents are required to be deposited in a SINGLE PACKAGE,so i am tensed now

is it need to be worried? ???

Actually, when u send ur docs for the fist time then you need to send everything at once.... in ur case it was requested by CHC, ND so no need to worry and as far as email is concerned it was by operator and they have standard replies for standard queries....

Now juz take a chill pill, sit back and wait! :D

All the best buddy for the next step!
