Here is the situation:
- boyfriend arrived in Canada January 2016 on a three year work permit that is tied to his current role and current employer in Toronto
- we got married Feb 2017
- we file for outland sponsorship May 10 (awaiting AOR)
- husband has received a new job offer and we cannot wait for the Outland to process as it will take too long.
- husband is an american and an accountant so included under nafta
How do we go about getting his old work visa replaced by a new one for the new company that has offered him the position? I want to ensure that it doesn't impact the outland sponsorship process.
