You mean your online account? or just in general the entire application? I think you have full access on your application. They will email you and mail your documents. As for you wife, they will contact you too. I dont see problem here.

I'm talking about the online status checker, the MyCIC status checker.

Because everytime I try to link my online account to my application it can't find it.

Are you sure you put in your wife name correctly? It should be under her name since she is the applicant. It happens sometimes, not to worry.

Both you and your wife should be able to see your accounts. Have you tried ECAS instead?

If you can just see your wife's account, then yours is redundant as you are already past SA.

Put a Space instead of typing city of birth (Literally just hit the spacebar---nothing else)
Leave the passport info blank
Make sure you are putting at least 2 for # on app---add 1 for each dependent.

Done all this, still nothing :(

Not really surprising. You're talking about an application filed just over a month ago. If you can see it in ECAS, then I would call the call centre and ask for technical support.

Have you tried 1 for the number of applicants? Despite having a dependent on my application, 1 is what worked for me. I spent a lot of frustrated time trying 2 and 3 and got nowhere. That's not to say those don't work for some people, but it seems like there's something odd about the way some files get put into the system.

I just realized that....That is probably the problem...they sent the file off to the visa office just recently. It will definitely take some time.

I have same problem.
MyCIC even blocked me 2 times because of exceeding maximum tries in 24h.
I tried with App Number, with UCI, with name and bday, with toronto/york/etobicoke/mississauga, with N of applicants 1 & 2.
What should I do?
BTW once i will link(one day miracle might happen) I will no long receive any mail in my PObox - is it correct? (so no mail at all?).
PS
My application is 5 month old so it should be in the system...(i hope so).
