hello seniors

my noc - 0111, CHC new delhi.

submitted my Full Application (full docs) in june 2010.

second AOR came in june only.

docs i sent -
1. education - B COM (pass) - 20 points

2. IELTS - 14 points

3. work ex- 21 points

4. age - 10 points.

total - 65

i gave M. COM. (masters degree in commerce) , 2nd year exams in july 2010.
and i will be getting my Degree in October 2010.

I have not told VO that i was doing it.
i was not sure of giving 2nd year exams.

What shud i do to gain valuable 5 points from it.

Please guide the process.

yea correct waiting 4pr, You must approach CHC to explain your situation ( by e - mail & coverletter both )
To claim 5 points your master degree must be from public university.
BTW from which uni. you did M.com ? In India usually results are declared max by August. Give your timeline too.

Honeyjack

Yes, moreover you can do the following:
- Send Notarized copies of all the documents that you have as proof of your having registered for M.Com alongwith the Cover Letter to VO (for example, your Admission Letter, Enrolment no. issue letter, Examination Entry Letter, Previous year Mark-sheets or any other documents etc.)

- I see that you have 14 marks in IELTS. Register for fresh IELTS and try hard to get 16. It will improve your case and also make your points OK (Inform of the better IELTS only after you have a better result. If you don't, then just be silent on this)

Good Luck!!

FYI

If your B.Com is of 2 years .. and same duration for your M.Com i.e. 2 years, This makes it 16 years of education which is entitled to receive 22 points. So you will get additional 2 points and not 5.

Appear for IELTS ASAP and try to mend score...also tell if u have done ur M.Com regularly or through correspondence studies

I dont see any hope.. unless and until u score 16 points in IELTS....then only u will get 67 points..

thanks frnds

b com is of 3 years.

m com 2 years

i believe that if more edu. credentials are submitted before decision is made,
VO is bound to accept and grant points.

my uni is allahabad uni. regular course.

so im hopeful that 5 pts will be given and no need for new ielts will be there.

pls suggest, if im correct.

thank u all and best of luck.

u should have told to vo that ur doing masters n willbe getting degree by october 2010. bcos that will add 5 points to ur education category.

even now i think u should inform vo immdly by sending the cover letter n estimated time frame to complete ur degree . i hope vo will definitely consider ur case.

seniors willbe more expereinced so lets wait for them to reply

No the OP doesn't have the degree, future possibilities are not counted. The education points will be based on the completed degree.

Dude even i applied for pr without sending the ms degree intially, later i sent them a cover letter to vo they accepted and processed my case. seeing that i give this suggestion.

Dear waiting4pr,
This is exactly what PMM wrote. Once Priyanka has her completed degree with herself, she can have the extra points. As it is still some time away, she should try & get those extra 2 points from IELTS.

Once she get the same, she can send the results as an update with a Cover Letter.
This way she'll be safe and she can also mention on the same cover letter that her additional qualification is also round the corner. This obviously will make her case stronger with those extra points.
Cheers!!

well PMM is more experienced them me.. he might be right....... no issues

Brother, in my 1st sentence I actually meant that you are also right. Sorry I forgot to specify that more clearly.

I was trying to clarify yours & PMM's point better to Priyanka, so she gains from both points of view.

Cheers!

no issues bro... good luck with ur PR Processing.

Thanks,, and good luck to you for your smooth landing in Canada,,!! :)

hi , im from delhi.

and do u guys think i hv a Concrete possibility of attaining those 5 crucial points?

that too before they Finalise my file?

thank u !

Unfortunately for all of us but Fortunately for you .. CHC Delhi is taking long time to process cases, by that time you would have your results and you can be sure to send the same before VO takes up your case. This will give you that extra points, also try to find out if you have any relatives in Canada which might act as favorable when deciding your case. All updates should be made with a covering letter - I guess you know this ..but just in case.
