Hello,

My university made a mistake on my transcripts.
They wrote "second class" at the top and "pass class" at the top.
I am actually "pass class".

It was my mistake that I did not accurately check my transcripts before applying. Cannot rely on anyone these days.

I have now got the correct transcripts and applying to universities using the correct one.

But I have already applied to Memorial University of Newfoundland using the wrong transcript.

What should I do? Should I contact Memorial University and let them know the mistake? They say that they won't accept any changes to the application once submitted.
Or should I ignore it and hope they won't notice it?

I am kinda scared because this might get me banned from universities and from what I hear, universities communicate with one another.

Did you apply for admission into a uni or for a study permit?

Admissions in a university. Namely, Memorial University of Newfoundland.

The remaining universities, I applied using correct transcripts which I got from my university three days ago.

Then relax, it’s just an admission. Write an email and tell them that you accidentally send a wrong transcript and attach a correct one. You won’t get banned, it was just a mistake that your university made. You can ask your previous university to write a short email saying that they accidentally messed up

I think most universities calculate their own GPA based on your marks anyways. As long as your marks are correct, I don't see any reason to panic.

Yes, the marks are correct.

I contacted the admissions department at Memorial University. They told me to upload the correct transcripts in the extra upload slots. Which I did.
I hope this doesn't cause a big ruckus. :(

See? It’s not that bad. If you’re a genuine student there is nothing to worry about

Thanks!
I am worried that they will think that I faked my transcripts.
On top of that, when I got the corrected transcripts from my university, the university changed the design of transcripts.

So now they have one transcript with old design and one transcript with new design. Although academic scores on both are the same.

Such a mess.

Don’t worry, if they will doubt the authenticity they will just contact your school and ask whether you really studied there. Once again, keep calm, the hardest part lies ahead

Thank you, I will try my best to not think about it and continue applying to the remaining universities.

You get banned only if you willfully indulge in such activities. Now that you know what to do, don't waste any time and get to work

Well I didn't do it willfully, but if the university gets suspicious, I hope I am given a chance to tell them that the university made a mistake and I was only correcting it

I don't think universities communicate with each other in any capacity like you way you mention. As others have said, if it is a big issue then send Memorial a new issue due to a clerical error and send other universities the new one.
