My understanding eca, please confirm

My understanding of eca reports and eduction in express entry and what u choose, eg bachelor, two or more, masters etc is based on the report from wes.

By this I mean cic are interested in what the overall summary is on ur eca and not actually what u did? So they are interested in:

What the summary says, what the length of courses stated on the report etc?

Is my understanding correct?

The level of education is based on the report.
For example, if you did a 2 year diploma, but WES assessed it as a 1 year diploma, you can only choose "One-year degree..."

The question that asks about "Completed Academic years" is based on the actual period of study.
If WES assesses your 2 year diploma as a 1 year diploma, you select 2 years because that's how long you studied.

Sorry if this is dumb thing to say, but doesn't the above state both? Eg if wes said a two year is 1 year it's 1, but if u have done 2 years and wes Say1 it's 2?

Actually ignore me....I grt it. My question really comes from my eca report. With an overall summary of something like 4 year bachelor degree and two diplomas (two year). I wasn't sure if I should select two or.more degrees as my degree is made up of one of the diplomas....but based in the summary I should
