Hi
I applied for a student visa and was rejected for the following reason :
You have not satisfy me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay . In reaching this decision i considered several factors , including :
* Your travel history
* Your Immigration Status

What does he means ????
Am planning to reapply again , but firsts i want to clear the above issue
How i can prove it to the officer ?

Sorry to hear that man. Can you give us more details?

1. When did you apply?
2. When did you receive your rejection?
3. Have you done your medical? (were you asked)
4. Did you apply online or paper application?
5. Where do you live? are you a citizen or permanent resident of where you live?
6. What course and University did you apply to?
7. What is your financial standing?
8. Prior Education
9. Anything else you can think of.

There are plenty of people here who get visa on second attempt, so do not lose hope yet. Lets see what can be done.

Firebord555 sorry to hear this.

I am no expert but most of your stuff looks fine. I think the Saudi Arabia was the nail in the coffin. The problem is that no one is permanent in KSA. They kick people out at will (140 thousand people in the month of May 2013). If you are working there; I am sure you are legal. But the embassy is not seeing it.

Maybe you should have applied for a visit visa; which would have been easy given your job and ties to the KSA. I think we need seniors to chime in here and give us their opinion. I am stumped.

i think you should write a good SOP to convince them that you will leave canada after your study..

Reason of rejection are stated as Immigration status and travel history.

Did you stayed or worked illegally anywhere without status ??

And they rejected you for less ties to home country.
As you're not staying in your home country.
So it will be really hard to make them understand that you'll leave Canada after your studies because already you're staying outside your home country.

So show strong ties to home country.

Good Luck.

There is absolutely no reason to reject your app. I came from Saudi myself. Unless you are hiding something?

SOP stands for Statement of Purpose. This comprise of the details like what you are doing right now, your educational background, why you want to study in canada, why you opted for this course and what are your future plans once you complete your studies.

i'm sorry to hear you were rejected firebord, there is one stereo type rejection i saw when applying from saudi, i saw it happen to Sudaneses, Palestinians, Pakistanis and recently Syrians
1) have you been born saudi and living there your whole life? if not for how long have been living in saudi

2) are you still on your student residency and on your dad's sponsorship though you are working?

3) did you first come to saudi using a visa issued by the company you're working with?

from what i see in saudi, there are people that have been living in the country for 20 and 30 years, even born or traveled very young there. and no longer have any relations to their home countries. In most other countries they would have been permanent residents or citizens, but not in saudi. they are still temporary residents and their stay is really fragile specially with the new laws published every few month to downsize the foreigners in saudi arabia. so no reliable ties to saudi arabia, specially if you have not come to the country on the company's visa that's you're now working with.

and believe me, if you and your family are in saudi for 20 or 30+ years, i doubt you can prove ties to home country.

**this is only my personal thoughts, maybe i'm wrong but that's how i see it**

you just need two things bro ...

- very strong SOP
- ties to home country (proof of tangible assets there)
