We got married recently, and the thing is I was previously married to a Canadian citizen but we broke up during our sponsorship application being processed. This means that I have already shown my immigration intentions. May I be refused a tourist visa based on only that reason considering that I meet all other requirements such as financial situation, travel history, owning properties, nice job etc?

1. An application for a TRV will receive more scrutiny because of your previous sponsorship.
