Hi All,

I am currently having 3.7 years of experience in IT industry. Now, i am willing to work in Canada. I am willing to know what exact process is ?

The knowledge i have from which i got from my friends is First we need to apply for Permanent Residence, once it is confirmed, you can fly to Canada and start job search. Is it that simple ?
Secondly, when i am referring to official website, i find point calculator where i am scoring 60/100 (min 67 required), here we are asked if we have Employer letter in hand.
My main intention is going to canada and search job, but how can i get staying in India ? this is the reason i couldn't score 67. Is my understanding of this is correct ? I badly need guidance on this.

Thanks in advance.

oK...Thanks Victoria...

I just rechecked my eligibility and my score is exactly 67.
Now my question is ...

1) Do i need to apply WES for PR in canada ?
2) What is the maximum time taken to complete this process ?
3) is this right time in the year to apply ?
4) If i get PR, on which VISA do i need to come to canada ?

First of all, do you know what your NOC is? Some of the IT NOCs are already capped so you might not be able to even apply.

1) Yes. It is mandatory and will determine how much points you will get in education.
2) Depends which organization you choose. For WES, it is on average 1 months.

4) If you get PR, you will get a PR visa which you will use to enter Canada.

It seems that you will benefit a lot by going over CIC's website.

Just went through NOC... I am an Engineer and will come under Skill Level A. Thanks for this Info.
and secondly with PR VISA how many weeks can i stay there ?
and for transcripts, how many copies should i send to WES ?

with PR visa you are a permament resident in canada. you can stay as long as you want.
just one copy of sealed envelop transcripts to WES for each of your degree ( masters bachelors )

also check WES.org/ca site to see what are exact requirements for your country
