Hello. I have just received an email about me having to go do my medical exam
but i havent gotten anything about my police certificate. When do i get asked for that? thank you

I believe it needs to be submitted within 30 days of them acknowledging receipt of your application.
Did you receive the letter asking you to link your application on MyCIC? The guide states:

After linking your application, check right away to see what else we need to process your application.

Everyone will find the following in their account:
a request to complete and submit a background information form, known as Schedule A.
a request to submit a police certificate(s).
You may also see a request for other documents or information specific to your situation. We can’t complete processing without the requested information.

If after seven days you have not linked your application, an email or letter will be sent to you asking you for the requested documents.

i didnt receive any email about that. so should i just wait and get the criminal record check in the email.

You might try linking your account and seeing if you see the request. Looks like the medical request comes after. Here is the chart of events for the new application: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse/process.asp

Hello everyone. I spoke to someone that I did my paper work with and sent that link you guys provided and they said

"Don't worry!
The link refers to the new sponsorship process. Yours is the old one.
We already sent the Schedule A form.
If it is necessary fingerprints, they will send a request.
I am not sure if they will request it in your case because you have been living in Canada before you have turned 18 years old and did not leave the country."

Let me know if this I true. I came to Canada when I was 15 and I started applying for PR in 2015.

Yes what they told you is correct. Sorry i didn't realize you used the old app when you applied. All should be good then and they'll let you know if and when they need anything else.

Ok. Well I hope so. I've been in Canada for a very long time now and having this application go smooth would be great. Thank you for all you help! Your awesome!
