I am just wondering, I changed my address online about 6 months before my PR was sent and they still sent it to my old address. I emailed as they have no contact phone number and they said they sent it to the old address. They then emailed me to say your file was requested from archived and as soon as we get it we will post it to our new address. Has this happened to anyone? If so would you know how long this will take? Thanks,

Do you mean PR card? or COPR?

If it is a PR card, same happened to my friend. They told her they would send it back to a new address when it's returned but, her pr card was lost in transit. She called CIC help line and an agent asked her to fill up the solemn declaration form. She did and she physically got the pr card in 40 days, more or less.
