My PR card expires on Jan 8th and my return flight is on Dec 30th. Is it risky to take this trip?

I planned a trip to Cancun from Toronto on December 25th to 30th, 2018 and my PR card expires on January 8th, 2019. Should I be worried about my return back to Canada even if it's valid but expires next week?

I appreciate your reply if you think there is a risk and I should not take this trip.

The card is valid. No risk.

If you have met your RO and is good on Dec 30, I'd say, Enjoy your vacation. :)
