Hello Every One

I'm stuck in a very peculiar situation that I do not know how to get out

I did land in Canada in November 2009, and immediately applied for my PR card. I then left Canada for urgent matters back in my country. Then my card was issued in March 2010, and delivered to my sister's home address in Canada. My sister received the card. Now I'm outside Canada, my card in with my sister in Canada. How can I get into Canada?

I have been advised by friends not that it is not wise to send the card by mail, or by a traveling relative. I need the card to go back to Canada. What can I do?

Please Help

:D Hi silverman,

It is not a very serious problem.
Ask your sister to send it to you through a courier like FedEx, UPS or DHL.
You will get it and can travel back to Canada safe.
Good luck.

she can courier the card to you without any problem. no issues.

That sounds pretty reassuring

I have heard horror stories about the PR card being caught at the boarders (because they say it is a magnetic card) and the individuals involved questioned.

If you don't feel like sending the PR card by courier or mail, you can apply for a travel document at the Canadian embassy where you are currently residing.
