I'm planning to book my ever first flight on july 15. my class will start in September.

just an opinion guys.

many people here in this forum said that you must book your flight one month before the start of your class, but I think it's not true. According to CIC, if you already have your student permit or TRV, you can now go to Canada and I cannot see on their website any restrictions in regard with early landing in Canada for foreign students.

CBSA know that students like me need to adjust to their weather, specially to those people who came from tropical countries and of course it is not easy to look for a accommodation near from your university or colleges right? CBSA officer know that foreign students want to enjoy and explore the beauty of Canada and I think that's the reason why many students are very excited to have their flight, It's not easy to adjust and one month is not enough

I will be flying two months early before the start of my class, I will bring $15, 000 CAD and I will be staying with my friend temporarily until I can find a cheap and nice place to stay near my school. Just a piece of advise to those people who wants to come to Canada as early as two months, You should bring enough funds to support your stay without working in Canada and don't forget to bring the source of your funds.

Since you will be getting SIN at airport so you can work full time until you start your studies.
What province you going?

Yes dude you can come to canada Since the very first day your visa has been issued..... Its up to you.... NO problem at all

I bought my ticket and I booked 3months early before my class. Goodluck to us

Hello! How was your early landing? Any specific questions made by the border agent?
I'm planning to arrive in Quebec 4 months before starting the college class (fall: august/2017). I think that if I have the proof of funds, this should not have problem. I'll get the W-1 (OWP) and my wife the S-1 (student permit).
Thanks in advance!

Confidence in your little knowledge is dangerous for newcomers here. What you are actually suggesting to
the newcomers is to work illegally as per their visa conditions and jeopardize their future. This misguidance is
disgusting and detestable.

Absolutely 100% FALSE. Following this advice will get you in to trouble.

You are not allowed to work until you are enrolled at your college and started classes.
