My IELTS score.

I have recieved an overall IELTS result of 6.5
But 5.0 in speaking.
(7.5, 7, 6) in RLW.

I have even scored 87% in 10+2 with no less than 80 marks in any subject.

I contacted a consultant and he said I can get canadian student visa with this IELTS score.

I dont know if he is serious or just want to earn money.

Please help

Minimum IELTS requirement is 6.0 Overall and nothing less than 5.5. You should re-take IELTS.

Depends on the VO, you may or may not get the approval. Give the exam again if possible.

I was advised that 5.5 in one of the modules is fine but less than that not good.

PS : Also depends if it's a Postgrad or Undergrad course.

I'd recommend to re take the IELTS. I'm not 100% sure but a reason of refusal is:

"Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of the following : your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, other educational opportunities available in India (the country of the applicant) or Canada, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans."

If you are accepted with this score you won't have, but NEVER trust consultants. Seriously, they will tell you what you want to hear.
