Thank God I found this forum. Anyways here we go, I applied for a study permit renewal end of May and was asked to provide a couple additional documents of which I did and within a few days it got approved.they stated in the mail on my cic that they would send me the documents within a few weeks.i waited the few weeks and it turned into months and I didn't receive anything in the mail (2months). I called the 1800 number and they told me they will resent it to my mail ....Waite waited waited ..got nothing in the mail another 3months I went to the border to confirm what was going on and and the CBSA tells me that my application to stay is good but they can't do anything about its need to contact vigilance,at this time I am kinda starting to become paranoid.anyways the next day I get I touch with vigilance customer service and they tell me that I should apply for a replacement to Ottawa ..I ask them what are the chances of it getting lost two times in the mail ?? And she doesn't seem to give me a clear answer all she says is I don't know !!!!!! Aggggg frustration ...anyways I pay the $60 for replacement and I receive my documents back asking me to sign " apparently I forgot to sigh it my bad" and to attach a second piece of Id on which I do ....then I send it back via courier ...after that I haven't had anything from them in a month and a half .....I a really confused as to what Is going on ....anyone has had this experience ???
