my friend admitted to u of alberta in msc with funding from university got rejected by chc isl

reason of rejection not sufficient funds. he showed 30 lac with property and also he got funding of 13k CAD from supervisor

tuition fee is 16k

what should he do now?

suggest plz
 
I have no idea how much 30 lac is. But I'll try to help with your other questions.

Your friend needs to show a bank balance which covers first year tuition + $10K living expenses + travel expenses - the $13K provided by the school. This money must be free/available cash (not property). In addition, he must include proof that he will be receiving the 13K in funding from the school. Did he do all of this?
 
Just to add to my post above, if he showed the entire 30 lac in property - this is worth zero dollars from CIC's perspective. He needs to show the required money as available cash.
 
i showed them 30k cad in cash plus property plus my funding contract send by my supervisor.Now what else can i do to satisfy them ..Dun know

Better try once again I have seen sometimes they give irrelevant reason.
In between DID you appear for GRE to get admission in University of alberta.

Show liquid funds equal to or more than.......
First Year Tuition + 12000 C$ + 3000 C$ for living .........

30 lac is equal to approx. 30,000 CAD. and he showed it separately in the form of cash. also he showed property which is not included in this amount.

Did he show the source of income.............

That is why you got the refusal.

If you are on job show your payslips,Income tax returns etc
If some one has sponsored you show his ITR and Payslips and if doing business show business docs....
If you sold some property then show its transaction..

Otherwise VO think that you have borrowed money from someone.............

first thing he should contact his supervisor and ask him what should he do now, coz in cases supervisor needs the students at any cost. supervisor can write an email to CHC and show them he is providing the funding.
remaining what he can do is to make his financial assets more stronger, I mean show them from where this 30lac came? have you sold any property or have any job? attach the relevant papers. but again if your supervisor plunged into ur case by just emailing/fax them, it will solve most of ur queries, request him to email CHC. and apply again with even stronger case. dont worry you are sure to get visa.
