Just like the title my canada student visa expires July 2019 but I want to drop out of college baking course that I enrolled into this september 2018 because the work doesnt suit me and I dont want to continue my career as a baker. Instead, Im planning to get married with my boyfriend who is already a Canadian citizen. We have been dating over a year now, and we're currently planning to get married this December or early next year. What will happen to my status if this is the case? Is it safe to drop out of college? Or will cic be notified right away and will my status be considered illegal? Do I get any disadvantages when I apply for permanent residence after? What consequences will I face if i drop out even if i get married soon? Also lastly will marriage guarentee my status as soon as legal decuments are processing? Sorry I have so many questions but nowhere to ask, my boyfriend and I will be very happy to know any information available!! Also thank you for reading such long text with bad english T.T thank you~!!

Your study permit will be automatically canceled 90 days after you drop out of school. Once your study permit is canceled, you'll be in Canada without status unless you do something to adjust your status. If you are working, you will need to stop as soon as you stop attending school.

No - getting married does not guarantee your status in Canada. You will receive no status benefits from getting married. Once you are married, your husband will have to sponsor you for permanent residency. Processing for PR applications takes around a year. I would recommend you spend time researching the sponsorship process:
