A student might not want to stay back in Canada.

Its depressing to think that our visas could be rejected because we already have some one there.

They have had their opportunity to study/work in Canada that shoudent stop others from geting it just because they are related.

You should not Loose Hope, be prepared for Rejection but make your profile stronger score more in IELTS be specific to the course you choose because if your course in Canada is not matching with your academic details you might get rejected visa. But don't loose hope.

My UG in Business management is about 55%

My IELTS score dated Feb 2012
Over all: 7.5
Listening: 8.5
Reading: 6.5
Writing:6.5
speaking:7.5

The course applied for is Global business management.

Apart from this my bro is a PR in Canada. so yeah

Hi,

The chance of you getting visa mostly depends on your strong profile and little bit luck....having a relative there does not pose a serious problem as long as you have a good profile and have chosen relevant course to your previous background study.

My brother is also working in canada...but i still got visa. So don;t worry too much..just make sure you profile is good and try to give SOP too.

In the first year I failed two subjects by 2 marks and was held back for that semester.
