It depends how old. If the forms are old enough - the application may very well be returned.

You have to use always the new forms. There are chances that they may send the application back, if any information that they are looking for in new columns are missing.

hi,

open the thread october 2013 applicant and read the comment of

nesta37,
page 19.

she got refused because of using old forms (1 month old)

As far as I understand, nesta37's apps has been returned due to a use of an old forms for additional Family. There is a minor change in the form. CIC added email address section for applicants' spouse or dependent children to get the same notification or emails to check their progress same as main applicant. I think this is the main reason her/his apps returned because she/he has a spouse or dependent child. Therefore, I guess, for those who are the only applicants in the apps, they maybe fine with using a previous form. It's case by case in my opinion.

You're asked to always use the latest available forms for your application, so ignoring that face, you risk getting your application package back. But as already said by other members, it depends on the age and how old the document you submitted were. A few days should be fine, but if you submitted weeks or months old document, you might get your application back.
