Hello!

I received a letter from CIC stating that they have received my application for PR in british columbia (applied inland). How long does it generally take for them to contact you again stating they are actually reviewing the case? Is that where the long wait times come into play that are listed on the CIC website?? In the letter I got they wrote that they would next contact me when they begin the review so I was wondering if anyone knew about how long that usually takes. Thanks for any input! :-)

yes, in short, this is the start of the 17 months wait (as of now). you should look into getting health coverage in BC (possible after submission) if required.

My application is Outland. Can someoNe tell me how long does the process take?

Depends on the individual visa office that will process stage two of the application as all the different offices have different time lines for completion. That time is on top of the time for stage one approval.

You originally said that you applied Inland. Are you certain that you submitted the correct Outland application package (because they are slightly different, depending on your country of citizenship)?

this poster is not the OP. the OP (jerseygirl) applied inland, this poster applied outland,
