My husband sponsor was denied. I got pregnant while my sponsorship was in process. When my son was about 6 to 7 month old, the immigration office said he is not satisfied that our marriage is real and called my husband for an interview. My husband did poorly on the interview and wasn’t able to present enough proof, so it was denied. So I appealed and even in appeal they weren’t satisfied that the marriage was real, so they dismiss my appeal. I had a counsel who didn’t prepare me enough for the appeal hearing and neglected to prepare the paperwork as well. What are my option now? My son is more than 3 years old and our family life is still in hold now. I don’t know what to do. I am going crazy over this. Someone please help

There is still the option for judicial review. This will only look at the decision validity in law, and won’t consider new information or H&C reasons. Only if IRCC made the decision based on the information provided at the time. So is your husband sponsoring you or are you sponsoring him. Who is living in Canada at present?

If your husband did poorly in the interview and you didn't have any real proof of your relationship, then it's not a surprise that the appeal was denied. You can't blame your counsel, as it was ultimately your responsibility to be prepared. What is your relationship history? proofs did you actually have?

I am in Canada and I am sponsoring my husband in Bangladesh. But if go for judicial review and they refuse me. Then I can never sponsor my husband. Is there an option of reapplying, because I know what mistake was made and I can fix it, it was something fixable but my counsel didn’t go through my document properly to see if anything was missing and what document I needed to fix before the re apply

my counsel didn’t go through my document properly to see if anything was missing and what document I needed to fix before the hearing and it was something could’ve fixed easily if he gave me more time to sit down with me and then he could’ve easily see the mistake and ask me to fix it but found the mistake 2 days before my hearing when it was too late. Counsel Job is too go through the document and see if everything in place and if not change it but he didn’t even gave me time to sit down and go through my document I have and if it was sufficient or if I needed more. The whole point of counsel is to see what documents I have in hand and if it was enough or need to gather more proof document. We had lots of proof of relationship but document I had wasn’t properly done.

Yes - you can reapply.
