Is there any requirement when applying for PR for spousal sponsorship that you have had to lived together for any amount of time (for a civil marriage(not common law))?

I believe there is no requirement for civil marriage. My husband and I got married (Civil Wedding) in May 2010 and he only stayed for maybe for 5 days, I think. We sent our application at the end of June and I got approved to sponsor him. However, we are still waiting from Buffalo's approval for his permanent residency. I think it really comes back to your overall relationship. You have to prove immigration that your relationship is genuine.

You don't have to have lived together. If you have, though, it will help your application, since it is proof your relationship is genuine.

NO there is not
but if u have lived together u should menshun becos it is good for visa officer
