Must travel on expired PR Card and Citizenship in Process

Hello,

I must travel due to an emergency, however my PR Card is expired. I applied for citizenship and an awaiting to write the citizenship exam. Is there any way I can leave the country with an expired PR Card but while being in the citizenship process?

You can LEAVE the country, not a problem. The issue will be returning to Canada. To do that, you will need a PRTD, as stated above!
